On June 16, Futuro Brillante participated in the first ever Congo Market at the wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center, Monkey Park, located in Portegolpe, Guanacaste.
Other event participants included artists, local businesses and other groups seeking to share their environmental projects, artisan ware, cuisine, textiles, etc. At FB´s stand, we shared information about the foundation, general information about environmental conservation, and we also sold products from the garden including medicinal plants and small potted plants in recycled planters painted by our volunteers.
The event also included a tour of Monkey Park for all visitors. We are grateful to our friends at Monkey Park for hosting this important event and for bringing awareness to the importance of protecting wildlife and biodiversity in Costa Rica.
