In August 2016, the Futuro Brillante Foundation was born with a clear purpose: not to be a temporary band-aid, but a true engine of change for the District of Cabo Velas. Over the past decade, it has transformed the lives of more than 3,456 residents across Cabo Velas through education, economic empowerment, and community wellbeing programs. Club House is a program that seeks to motivate adolescents between the ages of 13 and 16 to prepare for the job opportunities they will have; as well as provide them with tools for the development of psychosocial skills that contribute to the construction of their life project.

On August 23rd and 24th , around 100 adolescent and adult women from Matapalo, Huacas, Brasilito, Cartagena and Tamarindo, among other communities in Santa Cruz- Guanacaste, enjoyed the Women’s Health and Hygiene Event, coordinated by the First Lady Office.

Thanks to the alliance with the Latina University of Costa Rica, the Nursing advance students give workshops to the senior population and visiting the families of Matapalo to promote integral health.
We are filled with pride and joy to share a very special piece of news for the Futuro Brillante family. We had the great honor of welcoming the First Lady of the Republic, Signe Zeikate, who visited us to present her wonderful "IntegrARTE" initiative. This meeting marks the beginning of a bright project designed to motivate young people and open new doors of expression and growth through culture.
