Because of your incredible generosity, 343 students in Matapalo, La Garita Vieja, and Playa Grande started their school year with 1,372 brand-new books in their hands. You didn’t just give them paper; you gave them the tools to succeed.

This year, for Read-A-Thon 2026, we want to reach even further. Our goal is to surpass the $8,685 raised last year and ensure that no student in our district is left behind.

How to donate to a specific CRIA student’s Read-a-Thon campaign

1) Select your donation amount and then check the box that says: ‘Dedicate my donation in honor or in memory of someone’

2) Below, select: ‘In Honor of’

3) Then write the student’s first and last name and grade level in the ‘Honoree Name’ box. You can notify the student through their personal email or their parents’ email if you choose.
